The main goal of the Museum is to make known to the g<strong>eneral public the folk art of Kalarrytian<\/strong> Silversmithing, which became widely known in the past, not only within the Greek borders but also within them.<\/p>\n<h2>Museum of the Holy Monastery of Vyliza in Matsouki<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/visitsyrrako.gr\/uploads\/FILE-20170403-1208UZXSUEWD7W8X.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"215\" height=\"161\">In Matsouki, it is worth visiting the Primary School hall in which the <strong>Religious-Historical-Cultural Museum is perfectly arranged.<\/strong> of the Holy Monastery of Vyliza, containing images that have been cleaned and preserved, the only manuscript of the Library that was saved in Matsouki, various antiquities, etc. The set of 58 post-Byzantine icons of the Vyliza monastery cover the period from the 15th to the beginning of the 20th century. The collection includes works by the great Cretan painters or their workshops active in the Ionian Islands and Italy, such as Damascenes or Emmanuel Tzanes.<\/p>\n<h2>Museum of Contemporary Art &#8220;Theodoros Papagiannis&#8221; in Elliniko<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-927\" src=\"https:\/\/new.visitsyrrako.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/FILE-20170403-1319Q2H461BAFBPP-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\"
