Museum of Kalarryte Silversmithing in Kalarrytes
The Museum of Kalarryti Silversmithing was inaugurated on August 8, 2015 and is housed in the renovated building of the stone-built former Primary School, in the center of the village. The main goal of the Museum is to make known to the general public the folk art of Kalarrytian Silversmithing, which became widely known in the past, not only within the Greek borders but also within them.
Museum of the Holy Monastery of Vyliza in Matsouki
In Matsouki, it is worth visiting the Primary School hall in which the Religious-Historical-Cultural Museum is perfectly arranged. of the Holy Monastery of Vyliza, containing images that have been cleaned and preserved, the only manuscript of the Library that was saved in Matsouki, various antiquities, etc. The set of 58 post-Byzantine icons of the Vyliza monastery cover the period from the 15th to the beginning of the 20th century. The collection includes works by the great Cretan painters or their workshops active in the Ionian Islands and Italy, such as Damascenes or Emmanuel Tzanes.
Museum of Contemporary Art “Theodoros Papagiannis” in Elliniko
The Museum is housed in the former Hellinikon elementary school and includes works by the famous sculptor and professor of the School of Fine Arts Theodoros Papagiannis. Στο Μουσείο υπάρχουν, επίσης, πορτρέτα σημαντικών ανθρώπων, όπως και πολλών απλών λαϊκών ανθρώπων οι μορφές. Στις προθήκες του διαδρόμου εκτίθεται μια μοναδική σειρά από προπλάσματα μεταλλίων και νομισμάτων, που φιλοτεχνήθηκαν κατά τη διάρκεια 40 περίπου χρόνων. Ιδιαίτερο θέμα και θέαμα είναι η τάξη με τους μαθητές, τα παλαιά θρανία, το δάσκαλο και τους θεατές.
